Character Draw

I decided to improve upon character drawing by drawing a recent character I created in a novel, Dead Sea. I attempted to improve my drawing of characters by drawing Saynanova Vasiliena.

I started with a simple head outline.

Added facial features, however I just drew eyes and not the sockets, like I would normally do.

Then finished the facial features completing the head section.

After turning off visability of the features I planned the hair out via hair strands then drawing them to a single hairline at the top.
